Welcome to the Library!

The Alvarado Library is here for you!

Students attend library classes once a week to check out books and to learn important 21st-century library skills based on the AASL National Standards. STEM lessons will be integrated into the library curriculum with occasional visits to our amazing STEM Learning Lab. STEM lessons at Alvarado focus on developing critical thinking skills as detailed in the ISTE Standards for Elementary STEM Education.

There are many ebooks and audiobooks available in our school library database.

The best way to access all of these books is by using your APS portal at my.aps.edu and then logging on with your online user name and password.
