The Alvarado PTA works year-round to support students and to bring together our school community. We sponsor many family-friendly events throughout the year including:
Book Fairs, ABQ Aloft Balloon Launch, Fall Carnival, Holiday Baskets, Science Fair, Celebrate the Child Ice Cream Social, End of Year Play Days, and Kinder and 5th Grade Celebrations.

Our meetings are held in the school library at 6pm on the first Wednesday of every month. Please join us!
PTA volunteers also conduct traditional school fundraisers throughout the year in order to provide essential needs such as:
Playground shade structures, Classroom supplies, PE equipment, Library shelves, STEM education materials, Field Trips, After school programs, Campus beautification, and much more.
Consider attending a PTA meeting to have a say in how we fundraise and in how those funds are allocated!

The Smith’s Earn & Learn Program lets you earn money for Alvarado every time you shop at Smith’s and use your rewards card. Pick up a flyer in the office and have your Smith's cashier link your card the next time you shop!
Target’s Take Charge of Education Program returns a percentage of purchases made on your Target Red Card to our school too! Just ask the Target cashier to make sure you have designated Alvarado Elementary as your school.
Box Tops for Education: You’ve seen them! Please clip them and turn them into the school.
Alvarado Dines Out: Flyers go home with students detailing when and where!
